How does it work?

  1. Forest Preservation: Forests act as large carbon reservoirs, keeping CO2 out of the atmosphere and helping to mitigate climate change

  2. Photosynthesis: Plants absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere during photosynthesis and convert it into biomass

  3. Soil Storage: Carbon is also stored in the soil through the decomposition of organic matter, such as plant and animals remains.
