Beyond the Forest: Beyond Caring for the Forest

Caring for the Amazon is essential, but we must go further. “Beyond the Forest” represents our commitment to uniting environmental preservation with sustainable development, placing people at the heart of this transformation.

Our initiatives, the Fazenda Floresta Amazônica Socioenvironmental Project and the support for the ASAGA Agroextractivist Association, are concrete examples of this purpose. They not only protect the forest but also invest in strengthening local communities, ensuring that environmental care goes hand in hand with human well-being and the creation of opportunities.

This is the true meaning of going beyond: supporting lives, transforming realities, and ensuring the forest remains alive alongside those who make it so rich and unique.

1. Fazenda Floresta Amazônica Socioenvironmental Project

The Fazenda Floresta Amazônica Socioenvironmental Project, in partnership with the Payment for Environmental Services (PES) program, was developed based on the identified needs of riverside communities located in the Apuí and Novo Aripuanã regions in the state of Amazonas. Managed by Zabotto Ambiental, the primary goal of this project is to promote sustainable development actions, ensuring that the interests and voices of local communities are respected and valued.

With a direct impact on seven riverside communities, the project involves over 150 people living in areas near the Fazenda Floresta Amazônica.

2. Support for the ASAGA Agroextractivist Association

The second project is carried out by Greener Tokens, a platform for tokenizing digital assets, which allocates 5% of its token sales to the development of the ASAGA Agroextractivist Association.

ASAGA is an organization focused on strengthening agroextractivism in the Amazon region, promoting sustainable practices and empowering local communities. The financial support provided by Greener Tokens focuses on:

  • Strengthening agroextractivist initiatives and generating sustainable income;

  • Investments in infrastructure and technical training;

  • Valuing native forest products by creating more efficient and profitable supply chains.

This partnership exemplifies how technology can be used to create positive impact, connecting financial innovation with socioenvironmental development.

Both projects are distinct but share the same essence: supporting and promoting the well-being of local communities while preserving the environmental wealth of the Amazon. Together, they reinforce a responsible partnership model that benefits both the forest and the people who depend on it.
