GPT - Greener Preservation Token

It is in this context that Greener and its product, the Greener Preservation Token (GPT), are created. The GPT is an asset that embodies the initiative to promote the tokenization of environmental assets derived from various types of environmental preservation services and the maintenance of their natural structures. This initiative makes it possible, through a digital, transparent, simple, secure, and easily accessible channel, to participate in these sustainable initiatives. The GPT is essentially a crypto asset aimed at fostering preservation and compensating for environmental liabilities.

Through GPTs, any individual or legal entity, entity or body that has its CO2 greenhouse gas emissions measured and quantified can easily and swiftly offset them through a platform using blockchain technology, which provides full governance and end-to-end traceability.

All environmental assets tokenized by Greener and transformed into GPTs undergo a strict system of due diligence, validation, and verification. They are examined from the ownership and dominion chain of the areas where the origination projects are developed, through forest inventories, measurement reports, formalizations of preservation commitments, methodologies, and certifications used, to the definitive generation of each ton of CO2 that is made available on the platform for tokenization.

From this point, once the initial due diligence phase is surpassed and fully compliant with the origination parameters, each ton of equivalent CO2 (1 ton CO2) generated in the projects and submitted for tokenization being individually and uniquely identified, acquires a "specific serial number" โ€“ a "hash" โ€“ much like a chassis, which will accompany it from the beginning of the tokenization process until its definitive retirement, when it is used to compensate for a specific CO2 emission footprint of its respective holder.

GPTs are individualized and numbered prior to the tokenization process, so that the tokens generated from the respective digitization process are born with the characteristic of uniqueness, each referring to a specific ton of equivalent CO2 from their base.

Specifically concerning the first issuance of GPTs, it consists of the tokenization of assets from the conservation of native forest in the Apuรญ-Amazonas region, where the project area is named "Fazenda Floresta Amazรดnica," located in the Amazon biome.

Each carbon credit generated by the conservation service is classified as "Biodiversity Credits" because their origin relates to the native forests and their respective biodiversity, incorporating not just the carbon credit itself, but also all the environmental services provided and the protection of the biodiversity (flora and fauna) of the region.

From the perspective of digital initiatives in the environmental sector, the GPT represents a crypto asset referenced to a physical asset, individualized, and aimed at compensating CO2 footprints by its purchasers, enabling their participation in a sustainability action directly linked to the preservation of native forests and their biodiversity in the Amazon biome.

In summary, the GPT guarantees its purchasers direct participation in sustainability actions and the maintenance of an ecosystem with rich biodiversity. Unlike other initiatives that focus on reforestation, the assets linked to this first issuance of GPTs represent the true and already performed preservation of native forests in the most relevant and sensitive biome for maintaining life on our planet.
