GPT - Greener Preservation Token

In this vein that Grenner and its product, the Greener Preservation Token (GPT), was created. The GPT is an asset that consists of the materialization of the initiative to promote the tokenization of environmental assets from the most diverse types of services for the preservation of the environment and the maintenance of its natural structures, making it possible to participate in these sustainable initiatives through a digital, transparent, simple, secure and easily accessible channel. In essence, the GPT is a crypto asset aimed at promoting the preservation and compensation of environmental liabilities.
Through GPTs, any person or company that has its CO² Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions measured and quantified, will be able to offset them easily and quickly, through a platform that uses the blockchain network, a system that provides full governance and end-to-end traceability.
All the environmental assets tokenized by Greener and transformed into GPTs go through a prior and austere system of due diligence, validation and auditing, in which everything from the ownership and chain of title of the areas in which the origination projects are developed is examined, through forest inventories, measurement reports, formalization of preservation commitments, methodology and certification used, to the definitive generation of each of the tons of CO² that are made available to the platform for tokenization.
From this point on, once the initial due diligence phase is over and they are fully compliant with the origination parameters, each of the tons of CO² equivalent (1 ton CO²) generated in the projects and submitted for tokenization, being individualized and uniquely identified, acquires a specific "serial number" - a "hash" - like a chassis, which will accompany it from the start of the tokenization process until its final retirement, when it will be used to offset the CO² emission footprint of its respective holder.
The GPTs are individualized and numbered prior to the tokenization process, so that the tokens generated from the respective digitization process end up being born with the characteristic of uniqueness, i.e. they are born referring to each specific ton of CO² equivalent contained in their base.
Specifically in relation to the first issue of GPTs, this consists of the tokenization of assets from the conservation of native forest in the Apuí-Amazonas region, in which the project area is named "Fazenda Floresta Amazônica", located in the Amazon biome.
Each carbon credit generated by the conservation service is classified as "Biodiversity Credits" because their origin refers to native forests and their respective biodiversity, incorporating not only the carbon credit itself, but also all the environmental services provided and the protection of biodiversity (flora and fauna) in the region.
From the perspective of digital initiatives in the environmental sector, the GPT represents a crypto-asset referenced in a physical, individualized asset intended to offset the CO² footprint of its purchasers, enabling them to participate in a sustainability action directly linked to the preservation of native forests and their biodiversity located in the Amazon biome.
In short, the GPT guarantees its purchasers direct participation in sustainability actions and the maintenance of an ecosystem with extremely rich biodiversity.
