Calculation and inventory of emissions

Calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions or the carbon footprint, as it is popularly known, is the process in which an organization estimates the greenhouse gas emissions of its activity, process or product and which can be carried out in-house, using automated calculators or by specialized environmental consultants, as long as it follows the main guidelines on the process, such as the GHG Protocol.

The aim of this process is to obtain the Greenhouse Gas Inventory, a document that records the emissions generated by the company, allowing it to identify opportunities for reduction and offset its impacts.
